Chanthana Tsai is one of the most positive and motivational people I have had the pleasure to meet. When I started training for the 2010 Chicago Marathon, I posted it on Twitter and she was one of the first people to start following me. Like a good Twitter user I followed her back and started realizing how running doesn’t have to only be an activity to stay in shape, it can become a lifestyle. Even though I am about 50% slower than her, she never made it seem like she was any better than me. Instead, she would push me and motivate me to do my best.
When we started up this “Why I” movement, she was one of the first people to come to mind as someone we could interview. Her positive outlook on running and life is a light that everyone needs in their life.
